To clarify, we've compared our popular sizes: 6ft, 5ft 6, and 5ft, with Dave at 6ft and me at 5ft 6. The 5ft board appears much smaller, which surprises many who haven’t measured it.

We recommend using 5ft boards for props like hollow arches and accessory boards, while 5ft 6 or 6ft are better for main boards like sailboards. Also, consider if it will be a photo backdrop, your car size and storage space!

We hope this helps you decide on the size and whether to choose a folding board. We generally recommend a full board over a folding one, as there’s often a line visible with the latter.

Unfortunately, this particular board does not come with a folding option. If you do need a folding option we would advise you looking at a different board - most of the other boards do have a folding option.

Our folding boards consist of two pieces that fit together using a slot system.

We also include metal clasps on the back to tighten the folding line as much as possible.

We recommend purchasing the board in full, as the fold line can never be completely eliminated.

Here, you can see a painted folding board in use, with the line visible. This is one of the best-painted folding boards we've encountered. However, rushing the painting or damaging the edges can make the fold more noticeable.
